Ethan Lord Motorcycle Accident Death Pensacola, FL Obituary:17, Tragically Lost in Pensacola Motorcycle Accident
Pensacola, FL – The community mourns the devastating loss of Ethan Lord, a vibrant 17-year-old who passed away on March 23, 2026, following a tragic motorcycle accident. Ethan was involved in a collision on the evening of March 14th when a car reportedly pulled out from a store directly into his path on the highway. The impact was severe, with Ethan striking the driver’s side of the vehicle.
Despite wearing his helmet and full protective gear, Ethan sustained critical internal and orthopedic injuries. He was intubated at the scene and immediately life-flighted to Sacred Heart Hospital, where he fought valiantly for his life in the ICU. Over the course of his hospitalization, Ethan underwent several surgeries in an attempt to save him.
The extensive injuries he suffered included major abdominal and pelvic trauma, lacerations to his liver and kidney, multiple rib fractures, a pneumothorax, a fractured right clavicle and wrist, multiple pelvic fractures, a fractured left hand, and a fractured left tibia and fibula. Tragically, he also developed a hypoxic-ischemic brain injury.
Ethan’s courageous battle ended at 11:11 pm on March 23rd, when he was called home to be with God. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his family and friends.
A service to celebrate Ethan’s life will be held on Monday morning, March 30th, at Liberty Church on Blue Angel. A graveside procession will follow the service. Further confirmation of the exact date and time is expected by Thursday mid-morning. Ethan’s memory will undoubtedly live on through those who knew and loved him.
