Mighty Miller Griffith Death Edmond, OK Obituary,In Loving Memory Of Mighty Miller,Family Mourns Son Who Passed Away
The Edmond community, and all who followed his journey, are heartbroken by the passing of Miller Griffith, a young man whose fierce courage earned him the fitting nickname “Mighty Miller.” His long, valiant battle came to a close, leaving behind a legacy of resilience that defied his years.
Miller was first diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia at just eight years old in October 2019. With characteristic bravery, he endured chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant, achieving two-and-a-half years of remission. When the cancer returned, Miller and his family turned to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis. There, he faced a trial treatment and a second transplant, securing another eight months of precious life.

But Miller’s most formidable challenge emerged in the form of a rare and critical lung condition called Bronchiolitis Obliterans, a potential complication following his transplant. With the same optimism that defined him, Miller faced this new “monster” condition. He was the teenager who beat AML not once, but twice. The brave boy who underwent two bone marrow transplants. The optimistic teen who never stopped fighting.
Miller’s story, shared widely by his loving family, was not one of illness, but of profound strength. He taught countless others about grace under unimaginable pressure and finding joy in the midst of hardship. His mighty spirit touched hearts far beyond Oklahoma.
His family, while devastated, remembers him not for his fight, but for his laughter, his hope, and the incredible light he brought to the world. In his memory, they continue to champion the cause of St. Jude, a place that gave them more time with their beloved son. Mighty Miller’s earthly battle is over, but his mighty impact endures forever.
